I feel very sad that I will not be with my beloved congregation this Shabbat or for Selichot evening services. Unfortunately, I broke my ankle last week and just came home from the hospital after the surgery. It has been terribly painful and I am just not up to leading services yet. I am planning on being there with Temple Sinai for Rosh Hashanah and am looking forward to it. I am thinking of all my Temple Sinai congregants and friends and wish you a Shabbat Shalom and a meaningful beginning of your High Holy Day season with Selichot . I will be thinking of you and imagining our four sacred scrolls being decked out in their white covers yet again, as our ark is opened for another season of Awesome Days together. Shabbat Shalom!
